This code which determinates the legal responsibility and obligations that teachers should follow working with their students, colleagues and generally in professional sphere is presented by JeanPaul Piazzolla, YES Academy language school (Luxembourg). The document has got in purpose to provide the best results in foreign language learning.
It is recognized that this the first code of its kind in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
Although public teachers are required to follow the regulations developed by national government most of the private schools and languages centers in the world do not acquire such code.
According to the present pattern teachers should consider the students with the best regard, be correct and fair and act due to the authorization and applicable law.
This document also determines that teachers should correspond to their qualification as well as be competent while applying for the teaching position,have good references from the previous place of work, school or specific department, therefore apply themselves to the laws of country of residency.
As the present code doesn't carry any legal impact the author emphasizes the importance convincing the teachers to act professionally and encourages his employees to use the same serious attitude towards the clients of the school.
The teacher has to present understanding that every student personally is of a main importance.
The teacher has to put all possible effort to help a student to develop his ability in a language learning.
The teacher has to demonstrate all his decency, integrity and concern about his/her students and never fail in these qualities in any situation. The teacher has to be an example of loyalty and accuracy.
The teacher has to carry out his/ her responsibilities in accordance with the laws of the country taking into consideration the needs and rights of the students.
The teacher has to acknowledge and admit that every student is personally individual what helps to derive educational approaches in order to the student's improvement.
The teacher acknowledges his/ her obligations in giving assistance to every student in his effort of his talent development in order to achieve the best possible results.
The teacher has to be aware that he/ she has to cooperate with the associates using the same native language or the language different from their native language which they can communicate good enough in order to contribute to the students' progress as well as to consult the parents if necessary.
The teacher has to make any sensible effort to protect his/ her students from the negative influences preventing the language learning.
The teacher should not be intentionally engaged in indecent and embarrassing exposure of the students.
The teacher should stay only in his/ her professional relations with the students to avoid obtaining any personal advantages.
The teacher should not use the personal information about his/ her students obtained during the course unless this usage is a teacher's professional obligation or it's requested by law.
The teacher should respect the relations with his/ her colleagues as well as their points of view and maintain that at the highest level of behavior.
The teacher should be prepared to help his junior colleagues during their stage of working on to be a good teacher in all possible ways.
The teacher should accept the authority of his/ her senior colleagues taking into consideration the right to express their professional opinion.
The teacher has to acknowledge his/ her obligation to demonstrate the priority of education and foresee the consequences of the profession of a teacher.
The teacher has to admit the responsibility to improve the efficiency of the teaching process by all possible means.
The teacher must be responsible for his/ her own actions and decisions and should confront the consequences.
The teacher must demonstrate his/her responsibility, initiative, have a lot of integrity fulfilling his activity as a teacher and other activities connected with the profession.
The teacher should not make on purpose any false declarations about his/ her qualification and competence while applying for a job position.
The teacher must not take any advantage of the students, accept the presents, gifts etc. susceptible to influence the professional decisions and actions.
The teacher should do his/ her best to promote the ethical code of teaching.
Senior teachers should not blame other teachers or criticize their professional characteristics in front of the students.
The teacher must not verbally abuse in public the profession, his school or department where he/ she works.
The teacher has to realize his/ her professionalism and be responsible for his/ her actions, carry out the instructions of the senior colleagues. At the same time the teacher has a right to protest against such instructions.

advice and consultation whom it may concern, deal with justice and dignity.
Material, learning and teaching
techniques and pedagogical approaches are equally important from the intellectual and creative points of view. They
cannot be used outside the school without prior authorization.
The teacher has to admit the right of the parents to receive the consultation about the adaptation and progress of their children. The teacher is aware about the parents' right to contact the school on any question concerning the future development of the child.
The teacher should not make any steps against the parental authority but be prepared to give an advice concerning the best improvement of the child.
The teacher should act within the community in order to increase the prestige of the profession.
The teacher should act according to the immigration laws of the country of his residency all the time.
The teacher must not undertake any criminal activity against the law of the country where he lives and works.
The teacher should undertake all possible measures to develop his professional qualification, participate in conferences, take online courses or other continuing educational program available.
